Lukas-Fabian Moser was born in 1983 in Freiburg i. Br. and studied mathematics (with a diploma in algebraic geometry), music education, ear training and music theory in Munich. After a short period as a secondary school teacher, he received teaching assignments for music theory, ear training and media studies at the music universities in Munich, Dresden and Hannover.
From 2017 to 2019, Lukas-Fabian Moser was a lecturer in music theory at the Ludwigsburg University of Education; from 2018 to 2024 he was a senior lecturer at the Mozarteum University in Salzburg (2022-23 as head of the Department of Composition/Music Theory). Since 2024, he has been a teacher of music theory with a focus on ear training at the Berufsfachschule für Musik des Bezirks Mittelfranken in Dinkelsbühl (Vocational School of Music for the District of Middle Franconia in Dinkelsbühl).
At the University of Music and Theatre Munich, Lukas-Fabian Moser has been teaching ear training since 2015 and music theory since 2021. In addition to his teaching activities in this field, he is artistically and pedagogically active as a cellist, singer and conductor.
