Advancement of women

Our university offers a broad basis for comprehensive gender equality work. The advancement of women is an important component, which has also been anchored at our university in terms of personnel through the 2019-2022 target agreements.

Measures for the advancement of women include:

  • Professionalisation in appointments/personnel selection: Conception of diverse training formats for gender- and diversity-sensitive preparation, including a video tutorial on the topic of »Unconscious Bias / Implicit Prejudices«.
  • Participation in funding programmes, including the BMBF’s female professors programme, doctoral scholarships
  • Active recruiting with targeted approach to women’s networks and associations
  • Professionalisation offers in cooperation with human resources development: coaching, teaching coaching, further training, networks
