The teaching report gives an overview of the educational situation of students at our university. Among other things, the following questions are answered: Who studies at our university, how do students view their courses and teaching, what efforts are made to make students’ education as comprehensive and at the same time as individual as possible?
All teaching at University of Music and Theatre is comprehensively evaluated once a year. Students are given the opportunity to regularly and anonymously evaluate their one-to-one lessons and seminars by means of questionnaires, and to express suggestions and criticisms. The results are evaluated by the Dean of Studies, supported by the Advisor for Quality Management, and published in the form of this teaching report, among other things. As part of the expansion of comprehensive quality management, the University of Music and Theatre Munich presented its first systematic teaching report for the 2018/2019 academic year.
The teaching reports published since then (in German) can be found on the German website.
Quality reports are a form of reporting for system-accredited universities that document the systematic evaluation of degree courses and therefore provide information on the rating and fulfilment of the formal and subject-related accreditation criteria. Based on the two-stage procedure for the internal accreditation of degree courses, a quality report contains the vote and recommended decision of the external experts as well as the decision of the University Committee for Accreditation.
