We are delighted that you are interested in studying at our university. Here you will find all the information you need to apply. Basically, entrance examinations are required for all our degree courses. You can find the respective requirements and deadlines as well as the contact persons for the individual degree courses in the degree course options.
We accept applications for our degree courses exclusively via our Online Application Platform.
For most of our degree courses, we must receive your application by 5 March.
Exceptions apply to these degree courses:

For degree programmes with video pre-selection, the video must be uploaded to the online application portal with the application documents. After successful video pre-selection, you will receive an invitation to the on-site aptitude test.
For some degree programmes, the video is an integral part of the aptitude test (e.g. Master’s degree programmes in Jazz, Excellence in Performance). In this case, you will receive an invitation to the on-site entrance examination once you have passed the first stage of the aptitude test.
For degree programmes without video pre-selection (e.g. Master’s degree programme in Instrumental Pedagogy), you will receive an invitation on site after a successful application.
The requirements for the video pre-selection and on-site examinations as well as the contact persons for the degree programmes can be found in the degree course options.
The on-site entrance examinations will take place from 15 to 25 June 2024.
Appointments cannot be rescheduled. The on-site entrance examination cannot be replaced (even partially) by a virtual examination.
This deadline applies to all degree courses with a performance or pedagogic profile (Junior Study Programme, Bachelor, Master, Post-Master Certificate, Excellence in Performance) as well as to the Teacher Training courses.
