Application

The prerequisite for admission to a course of studies (ballet on junior level, Bachelor degree course in dance, postgraduate study course in ballet) at the Ballet Academy of the HMTM is passing the relevant entrance examination.

If you would like to apply for the Bachelor degree course in dance or the young studies programme in ballet on intermediate level (from 15 years and older), please note the following:

The language of instruction at the Ballet Academy is German.

Students from non-German-speaking countries must submit a language certificate with a minimum level of B1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).

If the language certificate cannot be submitted at the beginning of the courses, it must be submitted by the beginning of the third semester at the latest; otherwise, the student will be de-registered.
