European Chamber Music Academy (ECMA) at the HMTM

The Munich session of the European Chamber Music Academy (ECMA) took place again at our university from April 30 to May 4, 2025. Under the artistic direction of Prof. Dirk Mommertz, Munich students met with musicians from Italy, Japan, Spain, Finland, Venezuela, Poland and Germany. They were supervised by Prof. Angelika Merkle, Prof. Priya Mitchell, Prof. Patrick Jüdt and Prof. Dirk Mommertz. In addition to the workshops, there were concerts both at our university and at the Konzertverein Wörthsee.

A program in cooperation with the Bayerische Musikakademie Marktoberdorf (Bavarian Music Academy Marktoberdorf).

European Chamber Music Academy (ECMA)

The ECMA is a program of leading European music academies in cooperation with various festivals with the aim of providing the best possible support for ensembles on their way to a professional, international chamber music career. Chamber music ensembles from all over the world can apply for ECMA funding. Every year, work phases with internationally renowned teachers take place at the participating member universities.
