Anika Ram comes from Weiden in the Upper Palatinate and is a opera singer and vocal coach. Her musical education began at the Max Reger Gymnasium in Amberg and then led her to study singing at the University of Music FRANZ LISZT Weimar and the University of Music and Theatre »Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy« Leipzig.
Masterclasses with renowned artists such as Helen Donath, Prof. Karlheinz Hanser, Prof. Regina Werner-Dietrich, Prof. Sabine Lahm and others shaped Anika Ram’s artistic development.
Engagements have taken her to the German National Theatre in Weimar, the Theater Nordhausen and the Jena Philharmonic Orchestra, among others. As a versatile singer, she is regularly involved in projects, including as a guest in the choir at the Leipzig Opera; she was also a member of the festival choir of the Bayreuth Richard Wagner Festival.
In addition to her stage work, Anika Ram teaches Vocal Studies at the Institute for Teacher Traning in Music Education (School) at the University of Music and Theatre Munich, the University of Music FRANZ LISZT Weimar (Department of School Music) and the Berufsfachschule für Musik Sulzbach- Rosenberg (Vocational School for Music Sulzbach-Rosenberg).
