Lisa Schöttl is a lecturer in dulcimer at the University of Music and Performing Arts Munich. Alongside her active teaching role in workshops and seminars, she is regularly performing with various chamber ensembles, with both, early and contemporary music, as well as world music. As a soloist, she performs nationally and internationally, collaborates with renowned orchestras, and has participated in numerous world premieres. For ten years, she was a scholarship holder of Yehudi Menuhin Live Music Now and received the music scholarship from the City of Munich in 2017 with her trio Clockwork and in 2024 with the project »zeitgelöst«. In 2024, she was also awarded the Bavarian Arts Promotion Prize. Since 2016 she has been actively involved in youth work through her co-founding and leadership of the Bavarian Dulcimer Youth Orchestra. Schöttl studied dulcimer, recorder, singing, and contemporary music at the University of Music and Theatre Munich.
