Forum Respect & Trust

The Forum Respect & Trust is an open platform for all university members who are interested in awareness-raising and education against abuse of power and sexualised violence, equality, anti-discrimination, diversity, inclusion and health and who would like to get involved in implementing these issues in everyday university life. All interested university members are invited to come to the meetings and contribute topics to the forum.

In addition, all official contact persons and counselling centres at HMTM that are active in this area are involved in the forum in order to provide information about their work and coordinate it with current developments and topics.

The Forum Respect & Trust was founded in October 2024. It replaces the working group »Respekt«, which has existed since 2018, and brings together the tasks in an updated structure. The forum offers space for topics and open dialogue and also serves to inform and coordinate the various activities at HMTM. A steering group concretises the topics and tasks on behalf of the forum. The forum is chaired by Prof Dr Sonja Stibi, Vice President for Teaching Development, Diversity and Research.
