Biography

Maximiliane Hierdeis has been a lecturer at the Ballet Academy of the University of Music and Theatre Munich since 2006. It is there that she also pursued her education as a classical dancer under Konstanze Vernon and Michel de Lutry. Her professional career led her to the Deutsche Oper Berlin, the Bayerische Staatsoper in Munich and then to France as a soloist with the Ballet Nationale de Marseille Roland Petit.

After her active dance career, Maximiliane Hierdeis discovered her passion to educate children and she returned in 2006 to Ballet Academy, appointed by Konstanze Vernon. From 2008 to 2010, she graduated from the Masters of Ballet Educational Sciences with Prof. Alexander Ursuliak at the University of Music and Theatre Munich. Her Pilates diploma and her qualification with Dr. Liane Simmel and Eric Franclin in regards to anatomical sciences for children in ballet, round off her portfolio as educationalist for children.

Maximiliane Hierdeis pays special attention to a holistic perspective and the particular needs of children and wants to spark their passion for dancing and the art of ballet.
