Claudia Reinhard has been a lecturer for Voice Studies at the University of Music and Theatre Munich since 2022 and teaches students on the School Music degree programme (also with a profile subject in voice), Elemental Music Education with voice as a major subject, Vocal Music Education, Choral Conducting and Church Music, as well as students with voice as a second or elective subject.
The soprano is internationally active as an oratorio and concert singer as well as an ensemble singer. She was a member of the vocal sextet »Singer Pur« for 20 years, which was honoured with numerous awards such as the ECHO Klassik, OPUS Klassik and the Bavarian State Prize for Music. She was also a regular guest of the »Hilliard Ensemble« and sang with »La Capella Ducale«, the Stuttgart Chamber Choir, the Bavarian Radio Choir and the Nedelands Kamerkoor, among others. She has worked with orchestras such as the Hofkapelle München, Münchener Kammerorchester, Lautten Compagney, L’accademia giocosa, La Banda, Leipziger Kammerorchester, Esemble Modern and the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra.
Claudia Reinhard trained with Prof. Ulf Bästlein in Lübeck and Graz, where she was also a member of the opera school. She has also attended masterclasses with Julia Hamari, Klesie Kelly, Barbara Schlick and Charles Spencer.
Claudia Reinhard conducts the German-Italian Choir Munich »ilcoro« and the women’s ensemble »Fenice« as well as various project choirs and workshops. She has been a juror and presenter at the German Choir Competition several times.
