An excellent artistic, artistic-educational or academic course of study also involves a systematic and ongoing focus on one’s own health. At the HMTM, the topic of arts and health is based on three pillars: physical work and mental health, therapy and rehabilitation, and research. A wide range of services is available to students in numerous areas – for example, through the Career Centre or the Ballet Academy’s Health Team. These services are currently being systematised and further expanded.

The musician’s consultation hours serve to provide a more precise diagnosis and therapy for existing complaints. The patient should present him/herself with an instrument if possible.
