The University of Music and Theatre Munich is characterised by its international orientation. A good 40% of our students come from abroad, which reflects the international network and intercultural exchange at our university. For us, internationality means not only the presence of international students, but also the encouragement of exchange and mobility. Numerous partnerships with universities in Europe and around the world provide students and teaching staff with a wide range of opportunities to gain international experience. Programmes such as ERASMUS+ promote academic and artistic development on a global level.

The International Office is the central address for all questions regarding stays abroad, international partnerships and studying abroad. It supports students and teaching staff in the planning and realisation of stays abroad and maintains close contact with partner universities. Together with our international partners, we create a lively, cosmopolitan and diverse educational environment.
