Access to medici.tv

Effective immediately, the university library is providing university members with access to medici.tv under certain conditions.

medici.tv is a video streaming platform dedicated to classical music (opera, concerts, ballet, and documentaries). It features more than 3,000 recordings from the world’s most renowned concert halls. You can also watch the most famous competitions and festivals live.

Access to these databases is provided by the Specialized Fachinformationsdienst (FID) Musikwissenschaft with funding from the DFG and is available only to a specific group of users within the field.
All databases from the FID Musikwissenschaft can be found in the Database Information System (DBIS). Click here to go directly to medici.tv.

To use this service, you must first register in person as a university member with the FID Musikwissenschaft or through Musiconn.

When logging in, please select the button »Erstregistrierung für Einzelnutzer«. Then click the button »Weiter ab Schritt 1 – mit SSO«, accept the applicable terms of use, and select »Bayerische Staatsbibliothek« as your institutional affiliation.
