Locations

Our students receive their education at various locations in the centre of Munich. Due to its location throughout Munich at important points in the cultural life of the Bavarian capital, our university is particularly well integrated in Munich’s cultural scene. Each location has its own special features.

The locations of the university are:

  • Luisenstr. 37a
  • Wilhelmstr. 19
  • Gasteig HP8
  • Prinzregententheater (Theaterakademie August Everding)
  • Notinterim Frankenthaler Str. 23

  • Campus Arcisstraße

    Please note: Keys always have to be handed in 30 minutes before closing time.

    During class time:
    Monday to Friday: 7:30 AM-1:00 AM
    Saturday: 9:00 AM-1:00 AM
    Sunday: 9:00 AM-1:00 AM
    Public holiday: 9:00 AM-6:00 PM

    Building C:
    Monday to Sunday: 7:30 AM-9:30 PM

    Please note: The building remains closed on the following days in the academic year 2024/2025!

    b) from September until the start of classes in mid-October

    Saturday: 9:00 AM-10:00 PM
    Sunday: 9:00 AM-10:00 PM
    Bank Holiday: 9:00 AM-6:00 PM

    * The university is closed on Sundays in August.

  • Gasteig HP8

    The university rooms are located on the grounds of the Gasteig HP8 in House G.

    Opening hours: 7:00 AM-12:00 AM

  • Luisenstraße 37a

    During class time:
    Monday to Friday: 7:30 AM-11:00 PM
    Saturday: 10:00 AM-6:00 PM
    Sunday: 10:00 AM-6:00 PM
    Public holiday (for teachers only): 10:00 AM-6:00 PM

    During the lesson time
    (only for lessons and rehearsals according to the schedule):

    Saturday: 8:00 AM-4:15 PM
    Holiday period (Bavarian school holidays) closed

  • Notinterim Frankenthaler Str. 23

    Monday to Friday: 8:30 AM-8:00 PM
    Saturday and Sunday: closed
    Holidays: closed

    No opening during the Bavarian Easter holidays, summer holidays and Christmas holidays.
