Daniela Sindram’s artistic career took her, as an ensemble member at Theater Bremen, the Nationaltheater Mannheim and the Bavarian State Opera in Munich, to national and international stages such as the Semperoper in Dresden, the Bayreuth Festival, the Metropolitan Opera in New York, the Royal Opera House in London, the Vienna State Opera and La Scala in Milan.
Alongside her international stage career, Daniela Sindram has devoted herself to training the next generation of singers. In 2014, whilst continuing her artistic work, she took up a professorship at the University of Music Würzburg. In the 2019/20 winter semester, she moved to the University of Music and Theatre Munich as Professor of Voice and also teaches at the Bayerische Theaterakademie August Everding.
In addition to her university teaching, her teaching activities include masterclasses, for example at the Wolfgang Sawallisch Foundation, at the Opera Studio of the Vienna Volksoper and as part of the »Stimme, Leib & Seele« programme. She also serves as a judge at competitions and talent development schemes, including the »Hidalgo Festival«, »music matters« and »Yehudi Menuhin Live Music Now«.
Her vocal training focuses on thorough technical work centred on a freely resonant tone. The aim is for each voice to develop its own distinctive timbre, with no limitations across any genre. Her goal is to foster the development of a well-rounded, contemporary artistic personality capable of meeting the challenges of stage performance with technical, musical and interpretative expertise.
